our efforts to help the needy during covid 19 in Bengaluru

The second wave of the COVID 19 pandemic has made a devastating strike on humanity with the health care system overwhelming and thousands losing their lives. Children are the worst hit. Unofficial reports record that the third wave has already started in some places for children.   Hundreds of children are being orphaned or semi-orphaned. Acute shortage of beds, ICU beds, oxygen concentrators, monitors, Ventilators, Bi-pap, C-Pap machines etc., are reported both from government and private hospitals.  The situation is grim demanding a concerted and collaborative effort.

Under such circumstances, Dream India Network in collaboration with individuals, institutions, volunteering, and CSR groups have been proactive in ensuring quality care and treatment to the COVID infected and affected people particularly children and the poor through multiple interventions such as COVID care centres and Quarantine centres.

All centres secured all required approval from the competent authority. Most of these centres are supported by many partners especially :

Apart from this, there are many other partners associate with Dream India Network Bengaluru.

All these centres are offering free services with the support of individual donors and philanthropic organisations. Furthermore, all these centres (CCC & Quarantine) provide accommodation, nutritious and balanced diet, quality medical care and psycho-social care, health education sessions, recreation facilities etc., to the inmates. All these programmes are conducted to ensure that children are safe from COVID infection and related complications, and a child-friendly environment is provided to them. Similarly, centre follows the provisions of the JJ Act and required permissions are received from the respective Government authorities
